Waterford Chamber of Commerce

Congratulations to all winners and finalists at the recent Business Excellence Awards hosted by the Waterford Chamber.

Dataworks was recently a finalist in the Waterford Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. The awards were held at Dooley’s Hotel in Waterford on the 8th of February and were sponsored by VHI. The sixteen winners from the previous ceremony held last October were finalists in this event. Categories included Retail, Services, Hospitality and Manufacturing and there was one winner in each.

Chamber President Andrew O’Neill acknowledged the pivotal role which these businesses play in Waterford’s growth and commended each of the 16 nominees. He also thanked Vhi Healthcare for their great support. Deputy Mayor Cllr. Tom Cunningham also praised all nominees commenting that it is businesses of this calibre that drive the development of Waterford.

Other finalists as well as Dataworks in the Manufacturing category included local businesses such as Waterford Stanley and TSSG. The overall category winner was Hickey Fabrication Services Ltd. Congratulations and well done to all involved.

Continuing on the success of the integration of WinSPC into medical device companies across Ireland, a Dublin based Medical Device company has recently selected Dataworks and our WinSPC software as a means to build further quality into the manufacturing process.
