We have grown our team and our client base. Our products & services list has also considerably grown this year building on our partnership with ICONICS - a world leader in Industrial Software Solutions.

We hope that you will enjoy our little Christmas message below and look forward to talk to you again in the new year.

More Crystal for Dataworks
Dataworks has been consistently stepping on the podium in 2004, winning the Sunday Business Post's Best in Business Award Munster section for Innovative Marketing, followed by Overall Waterford Winner and Finalist at the National Enterprise Awards to name but a few. 2005 has been equally successful with the 'Excellence Through People' award received recently.

Dataworks' progresses were recognised and honoured by the Mayor of Waterford in November, presenting Dataworks with the ‘Excellence in Business’ award and a cheque for €1,000.

We have just returned from the South of France where we are currently integrating a bespoke Manufacturing Execution System developed over the last 8 months for a long established French Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company. The system which has been adopted across the plant is set to go live shortly and will allow the customer to manufacture its products in accordance with French & international regulations. A Work Instruction module will enforce rigorous adherence to manufacturing best practices while updating various enterprise systems on material & lot consumption amongst others. Interfaces with various devices and machines on the shop floor provide for automated data collection, thus reducing the risk of operator errors.

Dataworks has recently won a supply of services tender for the EPA. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is an independent public body established under the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992. The other main instruments from which it derives its mandate are the Waste Management Act, 1996, and the Protection of the Environment Act, 2003. The EPA has a wide range of functions to protect the environment. Its primary activities include environmental licensing, enforcement of environmental law, environmental planning and guidance, monitoring and reporting on the environmental status and finally environmental research.

Two Dataworks staff members are now working on-site with the EPA. One of our developers is implementing changes in existing Waste Licensing Systems while one of our Analysts is currently carrying out initial analysis on new systems to be developed for the EPA.
